If you are a resident of the Parish of Landford then this is YOUR Plan. It has been produced by an independent group but is based entirely on your views as given to us by the responses to our community questionnaire. Do read the document – you can download the whole report but we have also divided it into sections to make it more digestible.
The Process
- We started by interviewing a number of individual residents and discussing their views about the community and their thoughts on a variety of topics.
- We held some community meetings and had a stall at events in the parish. At these we presented headline topics developed from the interviews and invited people to give us thoughts and questions on any topics they felt should be addressed.
- The LPCP group then collated these responses and used them to formulate the questions. We did our best to make them as objective and as clear as possible.
- The printed questionnaire was delivered to every household with the choice of completing this hard copy or an online version. Individuals within a household were welcome to complete the online version if they wished.
- The LPCP group analysed all the responses and collated the themes to produce this document.
We had over 500 questionnaires returned (a 66% return rate) which shows an enormous level of interest within our community. There are a lot of thoughts and suggestions which came from your answers. We will share this report with various agencies but most of the actions require us (by which I mean you and me) to follow up the ideas by getting involved with the Aims and Actions we have laid out. The only way to improve our community is by getting involved.
Access the whole report or individual sections from the menu below, it will download as a pdf.
